BATH RITUAL
It is not for nothing that our ancestors went to the sauna every week. Thus marking the end of one work cycle and the beginning of a new one. The sauna ritual is a personal hygiene procedure for the body, but especially a procedure for cleansing and healing the spirit, restoring well-being, and relieving stress. The sauna is a new reference point in the daily rush.
The bath attendant and the bath ritual are available almost any day of the week, by prior arrangement. The bath ritual lasts about 4-5 hours for two people. This is the maximum number of people in one bath ritual, as it is a heavy load for the bath attendant himself. The bath ritual includes drinking herbal teas, repeatedly heating up, cooling down by wrapping in towels. The bath attendant has special stones for warming the feet, various types of bath brooms, as well as herbal teas and towels. The bath ritual is concluded with a massage.
We usually recommend booking a log cabin sauna for 2 people for a sauna ritual, where you can enjoy a night and breakfast.
It is special in its simplicity, but at the same time it heats quite powerfully and evenly throughout the height of the sauna room. As a result, powerful and persistent steam is formed, there is good sweating and steaming. Usually, the sauna can be heated relatively quickly - slowly sipping herbal tea, a couple of laps of firewood are lit within 1.5…2 hours and the temperature in the sauna is already 80°C. Salt, fresh birch brooms and honey are always available in the Ezermaļi sauna.
