The water here is wonderful, so we have created many different water activity options for our guests.

Lake Zvirgzdu is classified as a clear water lake and is distinguished by its unusually clear and clean water. Swimming in the lake is a pure pleasure - at the Ezermaļi recreation area there are swimming areas opposite the guest houses, near the tent sites, or by jumping from a boat in the middle of the lake.

It is also possible to fish in Lake Zvirgzdu. We have released many thousands of baby zander into the lake, but pike, bream, tench, perch, roach, rudd and other species of fish also live here.

Fishing in Lake Zvirgzdu, according to the terms of the license, is allowed only from a boat rented at the Ezermaļi campsite. You may not use your own boat to protect the lake from foreign microorganisms that could harm the ecosystem of Lake Zvirgzdu. The boats are comfortable, stable, and the boat rental fee is affordable. It is recommended to book a boat in advance, especially if fishing is planned for the weekend.

* Fishing in Lake Zvirgzdu requires a license and a valid fishing card. A fishing license can be purchased from the owners of the lake and its price varies depending on the month, number of anglers and fishing gear.
